Mick
Foley posted on his blog concerning Dean Ambrose, saying that he
refuses to work with him, after the FCW talent went against Foley's
plead to not talk about his family on Twitter. Although Mick Foley
talked out of kayfabe here, I still think that this is a work, and
that somewhere down the line we'll see Ambrose vs. Foley on WWE
television. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Shane
Helms blasted the Jericho/Punk feud on Twitter when he said “I like
both Punk and Jericho but I could care less about this 'straight edge
vs. alcoholic' angle. Just wrestle.” I would like to publicly
apologise for posting this on the blog and ever considering it news
worthy in the first place.
Austin
Aries did an interview with Sports Vibe UK where he discussed
numerous things, one of which concerning the current state of Ring of
Honor. Here is what he had to say: "I'll
be really honest with you, the Ring of Honor today is not anything
like the Ring of Honor that the likes of CM Punk, Daniel Bryan and
myself came from. Obviously they are still operating under the same
name, but the company has changed so much over the years and it's
really a shell of it's former self in terms of the vision and thought
process. The original Ring of Honor and the Ring of Honor today are
two completely different things, I like to call it Smokey Mountain of
Honor." It's hard to disagree with Aries here. Since the SBG takeover
(or since last June to be more specific) ROH hasn't been the most
consistent. Although in saying that, you could argue that ROH in 2010
was better than previous years such as 2008 and 2009. People may say
that he's showing bitterness towards ROH, but I also feel that he's
just being plain honest. So yeah, take what you want from that.
